The Love of God

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

- St. Matthew 22:37

The soul of man is fulfilled when he loves God first. When one dedicates to love God with all his heart, his mind, and his soul, love will reorient him to a world of perfect relationships.

-Ann Ree Colton

To betray the Commandment of Love is to betray Life, the Image of God and the Universe. To betray love is to betray Jesus, the Lord of Love. To be faithful to the Commandment of Love reveals spiritual maturity, constancy in virtue, a love for morality and truth. He who walks the Eternal Way of Love and Devotion is a steadfast servant of God united with His Holy Spirit.

-Jonathan Murro

The mist is removed. The Light reveals my way.

I stand and send my call to serve in Light and Love. -ARC

Love One Another

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

-St. John 13:34

Men crave love, seek love, die for love, knowing not the simple, sweet, uncomplicated way of love. This is the love Jesus knew for men. The will to love is the way of love. He who has not the will to love is dead to life. The Commandment of Love is a will testimony by the Master of Love, Jesus.

-Ann Ree Colton

With Messianic authority, Jesus confirmed the commandment to love God with all of one's mind, hear, soul and strength. He also took men one step further into the heart of love when He directed them to love one another and to love their enemies. Through the words of Jesus and the example of His life, the earth – ravaged by pain, sorrow, and unhappiness due to non-love – is slowly being transformed into a crucible of love-creation.

-Jonathan Murro

May all Thy children turn toward Thee, and love one another,

that peace and harmony may bring forth

the perfect fruits of righteousness and holy creation.

In Jesus' Exalted Name. Amen. (JM)

Love and Law

If ye love me, keep my commandments….He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

-St. John 14:15,21

Act through the Law and think through Love.

Grace comes after having used the Law with Love.

-Ann Ree Colton

Love is inseparable from Law. Law is Love, and Love is Law. To go to the heart of Law is to discover the Love of God. Law protects Love and all who love the Law. Love enfolds and enlightens all who abide by Law.

Blessed is he who heeds the inner call to learn of Law as God’s Love and Way for Him. -Jonathan Murro

My prayers shall go before me,

making ready my heart

to receive the command of love. (ARC)

God’s Love Is in His Law

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

-Hebrews 12:6

The Laws of God do not work upon a loving person. They work for a loving person. The Laws of God work only upon a disobedient person. When the heart is filled with the love of God, the Law works for the person. This is the first and greatest Law.

When the Law hits you, it is the Love of God. In the degree that the Law hits, so is the degree of the Father’s Love sustaining your correction, that you may move forward to the ultimate perfection which is in you through Christ Jesus, the Son of God.

-Ann Ree Colton

Each major trial and test on the Path of Virtue helps to bring the soul’s record into balance with the Laws of Love.

-Jonathan Murro

The love of my heart shall warm and illumine my mind.

And I shall behold the law of perfect justice. (ARC)

Love Your Enemies

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

-St. Matthew 5:44

Love your enemies one by one by saying “I forgive you,” “Thank you very much.”

-Ann Ree Colton

Jesus had such a pure and great Love for all. Regardless of what any one said about Him negatively, or did to harm Him, Jesus loved them. The Love of Jesus, the Master Pilgrim of Cosmos, was a non-retaliative Love, a Cosmos Love. The Love of Jesus is the same Love that God is using to create the Universe with its multitudinous stars and galaxies.

Jesus loved all, because He was Pure Love. He forgave all because of His Pure Love. Thus, He could say on the Cross: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do” (St. Luke 23:34).

-Jonathan Murro

Love is an immortal healer,

setting aright the bruises of the ages.

Divine love is the elixir of life. (ARC)

Ahimsa and Love

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour.

-Romans 13:10

The Love Fiat is fulfilled by love of God and love of all souls, whereby one, as a harmless vehicle for God in the state of Ahimsa, is as a dove for God.

That which leads the sheep must be harmless, in a state of Ahimsa; never varying in love of God; seeing God in all persons; hoping for God to come in the godless; praying that the tempest will be stilled in the temple.

-Ann Ree Colton

Love for enemies enables him to remain constant in virtue, forgiveness, kindness, and ahimsa or harmlessness.

A devotee should make a conscientious effort to unite with the Beatitudes so that Jesus’ Presence can abide more fully in him. This is absolutely necessary before he can wear the robe of a harmless one at one with the Lord of Ahimsa Love.

-Jonathan Murro

Let me be pure without prudery.

Let me think purely without censure.

Let me love purely; for where love is pure,

there is harmlessness. (ARC)

Love, the Great Exorcisor

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear. -1 John 4:18

Love is the great exorcisor.

-Ann Ree Colton

The Love-Spirit of God is the Spirit that heals, exorcises, liberates, enlightens. Therefore, all healing mediators seek constantly to purify their love and to place their wills in God’s Will so that the Spirit of God may heal miraculously through their prayers, meditations, and fastings.

Heal those of us who need healing.

Exorcise those of us who need exorcism.

And may we walk forevermore as disciples of the Lord of Love.

In Christ Jesus’ Holy Name. Amen.

-Jonathan Murro

All things are ordered in my pattern, and I fear not.

For I know there is no power greater than love. (ARC)

The Love of Jesus

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you; continue ye in my love. -St. John 15:9

We reverently touch His garment, His heart. And our souls are as shining pearls within His Love. His Transcending Love enables us to rise above our weaknesses, fears, and doubts. Through Him, we know we are immortal, we are eternal, and we are of God.

Never was there such a perfect man as the Lord Jesus. Never did one inhabit this earth who had such Love. And never did one have such tears to shed over us, or such healing to give for our wounds.

-Ann Ree Colton

The Love of God was in Jesus. Therefore, Jesus was Pure Love, Divine Love, Cosmos Love.

-Jonathan Murro

O Master, O Lord, let men seek Thee.

O Lord of Love, let men who know Thee return to Thee.

Thy Love, O Lord, doth encompass and heal me.

O Lord Jesus, let Thy Love heal this eternity. (ARC)

A Cosmos Love

That ye, being rooted and grounded in love may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

-Ephesians 3:17-19

Love is the key to the Universe.

-Ann Ree Colton

Through love one is always under the blessings of the stars and the galaxies.

The Love of Jesus is the same Love that God is using to create the Universe with its multitudinous stars and galaxies.

Through the heart’s expanding love, the human spirit will eventually commune with the Love of God omnipresent throughout the Universe. When this occurs, the eye and the heart will register broader ranges within the Spectrums of Cosmos Light and Universal Love.

-Jonathan Murro

Omnipresence, I send my love to Thy farthest star. (JM)

Love and the True Self

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

-1 John 3:1

Let not your True Self be empty of love, for this is the nature by which the True Self shows its countenance and face reflecting the true Countenance and Image of God.

The True Self absorbing the God Purusha is the center of inestimable love moving with God as holy concern and love. Thus, the True Self is supported by the absorption of love moving from every form and identity expressing Intelligible Love. Such love relates automatically to love those who believe on love and are loving.

-Ann Ree Colton

The True Self or Higher Self is Pure Light, Love and Grace earned over the Eternals.

The more a devotee is centered in the Commandments of Love and the Christ Principles, the more he expresses his True Self through constancy in love and virtue.

-Jonathan Murro

May my love become as an endless river,

purifying, flowing, renewing. (ARC)

Agape Love

And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.

-1 Thessalonians 3:12

Religiosity begins with the Agape. Agape means holy concern.

There exists in all persons an inborn sense of an endless Agape or a knowledge that every man's hunger is the hunger to be fed by the Love of God. This is the freeing grace of the Esse in action. Sincerity in hospitality offered in a genuine sense of love for all persons lightens the load of the Undersoul.

-Ann Ree Colton

The Agape cluster of virtues inspires one to love his fellow man, to sacrifice in order to serve, heal and enlighten them, and to risk persecution and martyrdom in order to awaken in them a love for God and His Son – a love that will liberate their Souls.

Serving others through the Agape Spirit reveals a heart of love and holy hospitality.

-Jonathan Murro

My love and charity will become as twin heart-streams,

flowing and giving – equally, joyfully. (ARC)

The Teacher’s Love

Take, eat; this is my body.

-Jesus (St. Matthew 26:26)

Who loves, teaches. Who teaches, loves.

For there is no greater love outside of Christ than the love of the Master for his disciple. Beyond even the love of a mother, the Master loves, understands, and guides.

-Ann Ree Colton

A Teacher sent by God into a truth-seeker’s life has a love which few can understand. The Teacher’s love for God inspires him to love and teach all persons who request his instruction. The Teacher’s love inspires him to patiently and graciously teach ingrates and incorrigibles as well as the receptive and the diligent. The Teacher’s love is “the cup of cold water” offered in Jesus’ Name to all who seek spiritual nourishment.

-Jonathan Murro

O Divine Teacher, I take refuge in thy instruction which is the cloak of protection,

wisdom, and unceasing love. Your urgings are life-renewing. Hail,

Teacher, blessings to all pure sources of instruction. (ARC)

Sacrificial Love

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

-1 John 3:16

We mature in our emotions by love, sacrificial love, love that wearies not, and love that is ever extending itself.

-Ann Ree Colton

The Teacher’s love keeps the world in balance through the Covenant of Intentional Suffering. To willingly pay the sin-debts of students and others by suffering intentionally on their behalf denotes a deep, unfailing, sacrificial love….To suffer and to die that others may learn and grow spiritually is an exalted love exemplified by Jesus, His Apostles, the Saints, and their protégés who have lost their lives and limbs in the Holy War so that future generations of souls can begin to taste the sweet joys of Heaven’s Light.

-Jonathan Murro

My soul has a memory of the Rituals of the True Sacraments.

I respond to God when my soul is quickened through love. (ARC)

The Key of Love

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another….If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

-1 John 4:11,12

Men reach Heaven not by difficult climbings, but men reach Heaven by the simplicity of the giving of the self in love to the One.

Men do not by noise or by the making of magical tones reach Heaven, or view Heaven, or receive of Heaven’s Light. But men, by love, create the tone by which they travel – the tone by which the Angels make possible the passage between Earth and Heaven.

-Ann Ree Colton

The key of love unlocks the door to the secrets and mysteries of the human heart, mind and soul; love also unlocks the door to the wonders and glories of the Cosmos.

He who has the key of love walks the earth as an illumined seer, a sage, an apostle of the Lord of Love.

-Jonathan Murro

The key to unlock the long sealed mystery lies at hand –

only one step more of love's overflowing grace.

I enter in and stand. (ARC)

Selfless Love

He that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

-St. Matthew 10:39

Be not a merchant in your heart. Trade not away your love for love. Buy love at the cost of selflessness.

When selfless love is the theme from life to life, one is enabled to live all lives purposefully, harmoniously, creatively.

Love is a living force generated by a heart filled with superconscious love. The heart and the aura can do mighty works through the emanation of a radiant selfless love.

-Ann Ree Colton

God knows the heart of each of His children – whether the heart is expressing selfish love or selfless love, a dutiful love or an enthusiastic love for Him and His Creation.

To seek to draw closer to the Three-Heavens degrees of the Godhead requires pure motives and selfless love.

-Jonathan Murro

Father: Here is my heart, emptied of selfishness.

May pure love enter in. And let me serve Thee. (ARC)

Be Love

Hatred does not cease through hatred at any time. Hatred ceases through love. This is an unalterable law.

-Buddha

In the Hall of Learning there is one place where nothing but love is taught – how to use love so that God can use you as a love-vehicle. When you use love blindly, the Love of God cannot use you.

In the school of love, one learns that love heals and prospers everything. The first thing one learns is to release everyone he loves to the Love of God. Then the Love-ministering can begin.

-Ann Ree Colton

Love heals. Therefore, be love.

Be love in speech. Be love in emotion. Be love in deed.

Be constant in love. Be centered in love.

And thou shalt be illumined by Love – the Holy Love of God.

-Jonathan Murro

My yesterday’s seed, planted with love, works for me within the reservoir of my soul.

I shall reap my bountiful harvest of grace with graciousness. (ARC)

Love Is

God is love. -1 John 4:16

Man’s Survival in the earth, and in all earths to be, depends solely on his capacity to love.

Love is the unifier, the blender and the salvation.

-Ann Ree Colton

Each Galaxy is as close as your breath through Love,

for Love is the Breath of God breathing

Life into all that Is and all that shall ever be.

Love is thy door to freedom. Love is thy key to peace.

Love is the Unifier of all Souls and all Solar Systems.

Therefore, O Pilgrim, learn of love; live the Commandments of Love. Praise the God of Love. Love is your passport to the Kingdom of Pristine Truth. Love comforts, heals, prophesies, and proclaims the Glory of God.

As Jesus loved, so should we love.

-Jonathan Murro

When I love

I am a mediator

for Eternal Spirit. (ARC)
