Archangel Uriel and the Essential Cosmic Flow

Ann Ree Colton has written profusely on the Angels including the great Archangels and their correlations to each of the four seasons of the year. The Great Archangel Uriel correlates to the Summer Solstice which we just experienced on June 21.
"The Host of Archangels working with the archetypes send forth the Archangels Raphael [Spring], Gabriel [Winter], Michael [Autumn], and Uriel [Summer] during the four cosmic seasons of the year, so that men will open their souls and their minds to the uplifting impulses of Heaven." –Ann Ree Colton
Symbolically the Four Archangels are as a spiritual Compass and a Cross through which greater alignment is made to the Christ Impetus in this world. The Four Archangels recapitulate their initiations in the seasons of the year. Summer (Uriel) Northern Gate, Autumn (Michael)Western Gate, Winter (Gabriel) Southern Gate, Raphael (Spring) Eastern Gate.
As a human family we are in coordination within these four seasonal points of the compass and the Cross. “Take up thy cross and follow me” (Jesus). Niscience is a teaching born of the Archetypes with a strong linkage to Jesus and this Cosmic, seasonal Archangel flow. Through the teachings of Ann Ree Colton we learn of the emphases of each of the great Archangel seasons. Ann Ree’s biography is titled: Prophet for the Archangels. She came with an encompassing teaching correlating to this great Archangel flow.
I am the way, the truth and the life. –Jesus
Perhaps of the four principal Archangels we are least familiar with Uriel. Archangel Gabriel in the Winter solstice is intimately connected with the story of the Nativity; Archangel Michael we read of in the Book of Revelation pertaining to the War in heaven and commemorated with our Autumnal West Coast Conclave. Neither Raphael nor Uriel are mentioned in the Bible making them somewhat less familiar. However, both are mentioned in the Apocrypha, and Raphael in the book of Tobit.
This, being the timing of the Summer Solstice and season of summer, we are thinking of Uriel.
Uriel, the Archangel to the Northern Gate, works to give death to the ego. In the Summer Solstice, Uriel begins his work with the human race. The will, when it is in the Will of God, is as a scintillating snowflake highly energized with God-energies. These energies are impressionable through consciousness. This will is directed through the Northern Gate through which Uriel comes, Uriel is the initiator of the higher mind used through the will in God. –Ann Ree Colton
Significantly, there is written in the Apocrypha the story of Uriel’s intercession during the timing of the slaughter of the innocents following Jesus’ birth. To remember, following the time of Jesus’ birth, three Wise Men (or Kings) came to honor the coming of the child. They went first to Herod to inquire after Jesus’ birth which was prophesied to transpire in Bethlehem as indeed it did. Herod bids them to return to him after honoring the child. However, being warned of God in a dream they do not return to Herod following their visitation. In his jealous fear and anger Herod commands that all male children in the vicinity of Bethlehem around the age of three be killed. So, an angel tells Joseph in a dream to take the young child and to depart quickly to Egypt. Likewise, the life of Jesus’ cousin, John the Baptist (the same age and living in the same vicinity) was also at risk. Here also Uriel plays a role, differing between the sources, in the rescue of John the Baptist and his family. Their reunion is depicted in Leonardo da Vinci's Virgin of the Rocks.

(As an aside, DaVinci did two versions of the Virgin of the Rocks. One is in the Louvre, one is in the National Gallery in London.)
Also, in Jewish tradition, Uriel is the Angel who checked the doors of the Jewish homes throughout Egypt for lamb’s blood during the Passover to protect them from the deadly plague. The name, Uriel, is a masculine name of Hebrew origin that translates to "God is my light" or "Flame of God." Symbolically and similarly, our “Prophet for the Archangels,” Ann Ree Colton, is leading those who will out of the wilderness of modern day spiritual ignorance and blindness.
The June solstice moment in 2026 for us in Los Angeles occurred on, June 21, at 1:25 a.m. – the moment of the earth’s most northern axis tilt. This point is when the sun’s direct rays are at what we know as the Tropic of Cancer, 23.5 degrees north of the celestial equator. For us in the Northern Hemisphere, the June solstice marks the shortest nights and longest days of the year.
Architectural evidence shows that ancient cultures knew that the sun’s path across the sky, the length of daylight, and the location of the sunrise and sunset, all shifted in a regular way throughout the year, every year. With this in mind, ancient cultures built monuments such as the ones at Stonehenge in England and at Machu Picchu in Peru to follow the sun’s yearly progress which was obviously considered sacred and of great importance. And, as I recall, when we were at Abu Simbel in southern Egypt, the massive ancient temple built by Ramses 2 was designed to allow a small beam of sunlight to illumine deeply into the inner sanctum of the temple twice a year: (1) on the day of Ramses ascension to the throne, and (2) on the day of his birthday. It is clear there was knowledge and awareness of the earth’s axis tilt and its affect on the sun’s path across our planet. It also demonstrates the influence of great initiates creating the architecture of these monuments.

As an example of the significance of earth’s axis tilt, Ann Ree shares this interesting information which correlates to the opening of the Niscience Archetype.
"When a Cosmic Day resounds, 1946–2466, men will know a new axis turn of the globe; a new man with a new mind will inhabit God’s earth." –Ann Ree Colton
Niscience was founded in 1953, shortly after and within the flow of this significant event and prophecy. We were all drawn here, to our Teacher, to the Masters, to the Christ – as part of this cosmic axis change and opening.
We are also aware of the great archangel mediation correlated to the axis extremes of earth’s tilt, that are commemorated at the Winter Solstice (Gabriel), Spring equinox (Raphael), Summer solstice (Uriel) and Autumnal Equinox: (Michael). As a ministry and individually we are in relationship to the sun and influenced by the axis of the earth and its tilt, that is in turn, in relationship to Polaris (the North Star), to galaxy, to our kundalini and spiritual becoming. So at the solstice time, the northern hemisphere is tipped toward the sun, giving us the longest days of our year.
Also, deeply connected with and part of this great drama of creation, we know that on the cross Jesus literally shifted the axis of the earth:
"The wind, the darkness, the thunder, and the lightning shook the earth. The earth mourned for the desolation of those who knew Him not. The resisting axis of the earth caused mighty organic contestings. The earth rumbled with electric, knifelike bucklings, cuttings, and thrustings. On the Cross, Jesus, engaged in the battle for the earth, changed the axis rotation currents in the earth. The brooks, rivers, and mountains were stirred and changed by this mightiest Passion of all." –Ann Ree Colton
This change in the earth’s axis (undertaken by one man, Jesus) has facilitated new Cosmos alignments affecting all in earth. Ann Ree illuminates our relationship to the Pole Star, Polaris, and its influence upon the earth’s axis and humanity in turn.
"The chakra seated at the crown of the head is linked with the North Pole of the earth, and receives the Arcturus electricities and Polaris electricities. Jesus was especially united with Polaris. This star is an initiator of all who have lived within the constellation body supporting Polaris. Initiates of the earth on the Cosmos-Disciple level, working with Polaris, are working to bring forth the Omniscient Cell in their physical brains and in the brains of their chelas." –Ann Ree Colton
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die;" –Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
And the death to the ego, an emphasis of Uriel’s work, is ordained and of God. We should not be surprised or taken aback. For it is good. We cannot be God- or Christ- realized when we are directed by ego. There is a higher calling.

The death of ego is what enables one to become “the poor in spirit,” or “the meek,” as spoken of by Jesus.
Death to the ego under Uriel reminds us at times that we must let life have her way, let pain do her work. Let truth and honesty chisel away at our hardened ego hearts and minds. As Uriel led John to His beloved cousin and Lord, so may Uriel guide us to the promised Land of our souls’ liberation and illumination.

But when the bright day of illumination comes, and one knows himself to be free of self-ambition and ego-exaltation, he has come to the true face of the True Self. The true face of his spirit reality will then reign over the limited ego." –Ann Ree Colton
