Niscience encourages one to begin his freeing and creating through art by teaching a simplified technique called the Color Freshet. The object of this technique is not to make one an artist – but to enable him to touch the creative levels of soul’s grace, and thereby acquaint himself with the telepathic symbols revealing his evolvement and clearing the way for future creative expression.
[For more information on the Color Freshet, please see the Color Freshet Technique page on the Niscience website.]
In the beginning, I had the power of vision and the power of prophecy, but these powers were uncoordinated and spasmodic; I had no way of knowing how to interpret the symbols I saw. I was utterly uncoordinated as to my spiritual powers until I was given the technique of the color freshets through the higher worlds. The color freshet is how the downpouring of heavenly telepathies came to me.

In my 23rd year, my first direct instruction from the higher worlds was opened to me through the color freshets. Thereafter, the meaning within symbols and the telepathic logos of the heaven worlds opened to me.
Whenever I neglected to observe my prayers, my meditative practices, and my color freshets, the spiritual worlds and their great ideas were veiled from me.
The color freshet is to make a person more communicable – communicable to himself, to the higher worlds, and to the world itself.
Color and art, pain and beauty, music and struggle, have made it possible for me to have a continued spiritual alignment all these years.
Art is the means of bringing forth pictures in Light. The downpouring of art upon disciples on the Way will increase in the coming 300 years, in that art will portray Light not as light but as spiritual Light.
Art is placing the soul-life into the soul-light and making it possible to free man of karma by visual experience.
Beauty is not just to please. Beauty to please is of the self. Beauty that teaches and pleases is soul-light creation.

When creation is seen by another as beauty, a degree of light is set off in the beholder or one seeing the beauty, and the atoms in the diamond chalice or higher atoms begin their spinning.
Let daring go toward the beautiful.
When each revealing line is brought forth and each point in perspective is experienced and new movement comes, the composite or Indestructible Atom increases its stature and light, and there is a dancing as of the atoms, on which the joy 1s responded to by the Angelic World, who are the great dramatic arrangers within the Universe of the drama within beauty in life.
The metaphysician and disciple seeks always to relate himself to the resolving of the mysterious and the unknown, but often err in seeking their solution in the yet-to-come as of the unknown. Prophetic insight gives one the trend of the times and the light relatings of the now. In art of the time we see being formed the external manifestation of man’s lesser will moving onto its climb for the desire of proportion, balance, and beauty.
This in the abstract art of our time reveals to the disciple the geometrical proportions and designs in the higher planes of the astral world. The artist so geometrizes his atoms and quickens his evolvement.

Art of the past portrayed more of the mineral ether or the mineral fire as religion.
Art of today and of the coming day will use the fire in the soul ethers of light. And painting color and light shall give off an ether of which the soul fire discerns itself in the light-eye of man.
[Ann Ree’s receiving for Jonathan]: Thou beginneth a new Mentor in painting and thou aligneth thyself now to the shadow and the light in the way it falls in four dimensions, and thou then doth penetrate light as of an object which moveth itself in thy light. In this way thou art trained tobring forth, beyond the abstract and beyond the small patterns, the true and the Real.
Brother, mold well that which thou doeth and then make thy models on which thou doth bring thy light and shadow, and in this, paint onto canvas what thou find and do, and blend that of the "you" with the thee.
